how did missing one day of school kinda saved your life

It all started when I was 6 (2017). I woke up at about 7:00, and my mother and my father were urging me to go to school. But I just woke up from a nightmare, so I insisted they let me sleep. Then I woke up at about 12:00 or 12:30 (I was a hard sleeper), then my dad turned on the news and found out that a massive riot broke out near my school (2017 Northern India riots). Our school was set on fire.
