Need gift for 8 year old - switch 2 or other console?

Hi! Hoping this community can help me.. I'm looking for a gift for my 8 year old. We have the original switch but he never played it much. He's asking for the new switch but I'm wondering if any of these are a better option? I'm clueless on all this clearly so would love input! Wii Switch 2 PlayStation Xbox

Thank you!
