about small ma

hii i'm new to modelling and im kinda lost.

Let's say a mother agency is interested in me but it's a pretty small one (based in Paris tho and i checked and they seem legit with a real team). they don't have many models but they seem to take good care of the ones they do have and two of their models are signed with TOPPP agencies. should I engage with them or try for bigger mother agencies instead? I was told that the issue with “big” mas is that they don’t really follow their models closely but I don’t have any friends or connections in modelling so I don’t really have anyone to ask… i'm scared to engage with them just for them to get me signed to "small" agencies (some of their other models are signed under smaller agencies)
