DIYer question on Schluter Pan

Hi All, probably a stupid question from another DIYer, but here goes nothing:

1. Is it acceptable to put some kerdi band over top of an indent from a heavy knee in a schluter pan to "fix" the slope. I assume the answer is yes, the pan is not damaged.

2. I dont love how little the schulter pan is sloped, it's probably a smidge out of level, but I'm curious if it's acceptable to layer some membrane or kerdi band around the perimeter to add some additional slope into the pan to ensure the tile mosaic maintains slope to the drain.

I would assume that if the base pan, banding is waterproof then adding an additional layer on top is not an issue?
