Best NYE spots in San Diego for two single 30-year-old dudes?

Heading down to SD for New Year’s Eve with my buddy. We’re both 30, single, and just trying to find a fun scene.

Where should we go? Gaslamp? PB? Rooftops? Any can’t-miss events or bars that actually feel like a good time on NYE?

Open to whatever SD does best.
