ADT SECURITY

Location: Alabama, and adt & their authorized provider safe streets did NOT disclose to me that a camera would be installed inside my home. The camera is inside the adt command panel. There is as no verbal mention upon installation or stated in my contract. It takes pictures every time you arm and disarm the system. I am one for my privacy and upon finding this out I’m livid. It’s one thing to not read the fine print but nowhere in the contract does it mention it. I’ve of course run it through chat gpt to make sure I’m not missing anything. It also never labels the control panel as being integrated with a camera. Now I want to cancel and request a release of contract and they’re going to get back with a district manager. If I can’t get out of the contract I have to pay 75% of the 36 month contract I’m on month 7. Do I have grounds to seek legal action is it worth it? Truly all I want is to void my contract but also I want them to make that clearly stated for future customers to me, that’s so deceptive not disclosing a surveillance feature.
