I don't like looking at people's faces because i don't like that there's so much going on in such a tiny space (lemme explain)
What do you mean we've evolved sophisticated eyebrow muscles so that we can be even more expressive? Why are our mouths so flexible? Even our noses are so expressive too, some people (like me) can even move their ears around like other animals
Body lenguage in humans has evolved to a point in which we've develop this thing i can only describe as "facial lenguage", a hyperspecialized form of body lenguage meant to convey complex ideas and tbh it can be a little too much sometimes...
The amount of tiny, hyper-specialized muscles muscles that exist specifically to convey subtleties during direct communication among humans is crazy to me personally, i find it often very overstimulating because there's just so much going on there most of the time
This is pretty much just a human exclussive thing because the only other animal with facial lenguages so specialized are dogs and other great apes like gorillas
Ig i just wanted to vent and infodump a little bit lol
