How To Get Through The Holidays

experience: first MC

I, ( 19F ) had a chemical pregnancy in March. I was almost 5 weeks. Even though my baby was very unexpected, I loved my baby so much in those few short weeks and it was very much wanted by me. The father, on the other hand is a different story. Me and him hardly talk anymore and that’s probably for the best in some ways. I should’ve been due December 5th, and I didn’t expect grief to be hitting me as hard as it is. It was my first pregnancy, and I didn’t tell anyone I was even pregnant till after I miscarried out of fear. Luckily though, I have a very good support system in my aunt and my mom. To people who are familiar with this grief during the holidays, what helps you get through it? I was thinking of donating some baby stuff as that would make me feel better. I just really wish my baby was here, I just want someone to hold me. It really sucks being so young and having this experience, but my heart goes out to everyone in this subreddit. This experience isn’t fair, and I hope you all have a good support system in place, especially during the holidays. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated!!
