Canadian solo traveller looking for NYE ideas

I just booked a solo trip and I’m going to be in Auckland for New Year’s Eve. If anybody has any good tips on what to do or where to go I’d love to hear them!

I’m thinking drinks, some mingling, and maybe murdering a dance floor of the mood strikes but I’m open to other ideas that don’t involve signing a waiver or coming home with less than two kidneys.
