It’s early season at ABasin and High Noon is the only run open. Everyone’s forced into the same route, so you kinda have to ski like other people exist, yeah? Especially new skiiers and **CHILDREN**.

Apparently not for these two boneheads!
Skier in a purple onesie
Snowboarder in an orange jacket / blue pants

**The purple onesie dude almost hit me earlier, full speed, inches away. Then later, both of them ducked the closed Ramrod rope, shot back into High Noon, and clipped my buddy’s skis (older guy). Knocked him off balance. They didn’t stop. They didn’t check. They just yelled “fuck off” at me and flipped me off when I called it out.**

This is *exactly* what the Responsibility Code is about, right??? Control, right-of-way, don’t ski closed terrain, and if you hit someone, you stop. Basic mountain etiquette.

I’ve got photos and patrol has seen them. I’m not trying to be the “report everyone” guy, but someone’s going to get hurt if people ski early-season terrain like it’s your fucking NASTAR course. Plus like, good skiiers \*know when to ski fast\*, that's not always. The etiquette is getting worse, and worse, and worse over the years. How do we start to fix these issues besides souring people's attitudes with patrol action?

Just slow down. It’s one run. Chill, douchebags.

Early season with one run open… & these two caused a crash at A-Basin yesterday, 11/30! Patrol knows, but keep your eyes out and head on a swivel for your own safety.
