Webber Searwood 600 vs. Masterbuilt Electric Smoker with added Smoke Tubes

I've been wanting to get a smoker for a while and decided to bite the bullet for this Christmas Previously, I've "smoked" a few briskets in the oven using a BBQ smoker box, which makes the house smell of smoke for 3 days, so not the best (and minimal smoke production).

After doing quite a bit of research I've settled on the idea of getting the Webber Seawood 600 and likely would be adding an extra smoketube or 2 for extra smoke flavour (I originally fancied the idea of getting the Masterbuilt Gravity series smoker for the offset-like smoke production, but I live in Ontario, Canada, and the build quality on those models seems like a poor fit with my climate).

After all that research I thought "what about an electric smoker with smoke tubes". This would be much cheaper than the Searwood. That being said, the problem I found with trying to smoke in the oven is either I needed to get the pellet/chip combo roaring to burn through all of it, but then it would burn out much quicker than ideal, or the fire would go out prematurely and not much of the smoke box's chips would actually burn up.

Does anyone have experience with this or thoughts between the 2 setups? If the Searwood is going to be a more consistent/realistic/successful setup, then I'm perfectly fine going with that. My question is if I can get an electric smoker to produce as much smoke as the pellet smoker while using smoke tubes/bokes on both of them (with my biggest concern being maintaining the burn of the smoke tube/box in the electric smoker).

Thanks so much!
