[24M4F] The Barn (Dystopian Hucow Roleplay)

This roleplay is set in a dystopian reality where a farming crisis has left most of the world in a widespread famine.

The virus hit just over two years ago, it wiped out livestock snd crops alike, indiscriminate in its attack. The majority of the worlds farms have been shut down to stop the spread of the virus, which now is relatively under control. The shut down however had left the world with no food. And with so many farms closed and so many farmers dead from the famine, the road back was a long one. People rioted and looted as the world descended into madness.

2 years on from the spread of the virus things are on the mend…but they aren’t what they once were. Many drastic rules were brought in by the government, not least of which the Livestocks Act. The livestock act allows families to elect to sell their female offspring when of age to farms across the country. For girls who failed their exams and were a burden to their family, this was all too common now.

On results day you find your worst fears have come true. You’ve fallen short of the mark, university is no longer an option and it seems your family are eyeing up the excellent opportunity to send you off to make some money for your household.
