P1s Ventilation system
Hello guys, Last week I ordered myself a p1s combo, with an intention to print in my room. However despite the extensive research I never considered the fumes produced by a 3d printer. So in a bit of a panic i canceled my order. Now, I think i found a solution. I have a spare room in my house, but its a preety big bedroom, with poor ventilation and due to the climate i live in I can't really have the windows open whenever i am printing cause it would get cold really quick. However the window has this vent on the top. I was thinking, i could buy a full enclosure, install a one way valve and fairly powerful fan on the top(so it would push trough the preety small vent), connect it with a pipe, and make an adapter to enclose the vent, glue it to the frame of the window with silicone. If done correctly i belive i could get a good seal, and I could print more than just pla/petg in the future. Would this work, or am I in an engineery imagination land?
Tell me what you think
