XMacro Grip vs. X/XL Pinky Extension Grip Question

So the XMacro Grip feels a lot better in my hands than the standard XL grip. However, I see Armory Craft makes these pinky extensions for for the XL mags. Does this essentially make it the same length as the XMacro Grip? I'm debating which was to go with upgrading my XL OEM grip. I just bought the gun so I can get mags for either.
