PS5 controller issues [KCD2]

Has anyone had problems with the PS5 controller R2 button. It’s messing up my blacksmithing rhythm and making the legacy of the forge DLC crap. I keep messing up my swords. I can hear a noise inside the controller changing the R2 from being easy to press to hard to press and being slower and making a noise. Very annoying !
