If you think tanks are worse in S2 than S1 you have a massive skill issue

DISCUSSION

In smite 2 tanks have access to far more utility through a massive range of active items. Tanks are less tanky because they are balanced around having 3 active items and a relic. These actives give you a MASSIVE amount of control that tanks in smite 1 simply didn’t have. As a result, you simply cannot compare item and god stats between games because they are obviously balanced around these new actives.

Therefore, if you feel weaker in smite 2 you are simply not using your actives correctly. Instead of being only a meat shield like in smite 1 where you drop your kit and wait 15s to do it again, you now have a bunch of extra buttons which can all turn a team fight.

Support is one of the best roles in smite 2. With the right communication it might even be the biggest difference maker in conquest games. The role is also massively diverse with so many options and styles to play it in. Why are people upvoting and cheering on requests to revert it to being boring as shit?

We as a community asked for supports as a role to be more interesting and now people are asking for boring supports back with rose tinted glasses on. Why are we upvoting a video of an Athena misplaying repeatedly and not getting punished under a tower at level 7 as if any of us would find playing against that fun?

Come ON guys

TLDR: Tank mains on the subreddit have a skill issue and are telling on themselves
