Did we get gaijined?

I saw in previous events like the current black friday we were able to buy more tickets with ge and sl so why can't we this time? In my situation, i only have 2200 and can't buy the t58. The only way i could is by spending 11 dollars to purchase 1000 more which i think is not worth it. Why is gaijin so money hungry?
