Look up function where column index is a range

I want to us a criteria in my blood up formula for column index os that possible?

Top row is monthly date (6/1/25,7/1/25 etc)

I want to look up a value that matches both the look up value in column A and returns the value that corresponds to the current month (in cell D4 written as 6/1/25)

I havent mastered other look up functions so don’t know if you can combine vlookup along with hlookup
