Should we get 2nd opinion?

I've been on Zep since September 1 and have lost 23 pounds (28 if you consider my highest weight in August 2024). I'm currently on 5mg and losing about 1-2lbs a week consistently. I use Ro Body for my med.

Hubby is obese and I finally convinced him to talk to his doctor about Zep or another GLP-1. We went today and the doctor doesn't think he's a good candidate for the meds because of how overweight he is and said she recommends bariatric surgery, which we're both on the fence about.

Would you get a second opinion? Doctor said with the shots you can only lose 10-15% of your current weight which is why she doesn't think he's a good candidate since he has so much more to lose. But I've seen people on this thread that have lost a lot more than 10-15% of their initial weight. Feeling discouraged by his doc and since I know firsthand how amazing Zep is I feel like she just isn't educated enough??
