What are your favorite cozy comfortable indoor places to read in nyc?

I moved here relatively recently and I’m looking for some cozy places I can go chill with a book. I would love places that serve coffee. A big requirement for me is a place with comfy seating like couches or something. I have a bad back, so sitting in hard chairs for a long time isn’t really an option. Unfortunately, most places I have checked out just have normal hard chair seating. I’ve also searched for this question on reddit and nobody has had the comfy seating requirement, so I figured I’d make my own post.

Ideally I’d love to get cozy and comfortable on a couch with a cup of coffee in a relatively quiet space and just read my book I bring from home and relax for a while.

Big plus for any explicitly queer spaces, but I figure any place like this in the city will be an accepting and safe space, so it doesn’t have to be explicitly queer.

I’m based in Bushwick but open to traveling anywhere in the city accessible by public transit.
