Any downside to applying for secondary insurance Medicaid?

Looking into resources and Medicaid as a secondary insurance seems to be an option in our state.

We have good primary insurance (but with $10 copays for speech therapy and occupational therapy)

Any downsides to getting Medicaid as a secondary insurance?

We are also looking into our local regional center for services.
