Savitar does not make ANY sense in my head(cw)

I can’t get to understand savitar.. and I don’t mean the “which came first.., savitar or the remnant” because that I understand that it’s just a closed loop BUT.., so the savitar we(Wally) free is the one future Barry trapped but is that same savitar just reliving the same story over and over since now (before the timeline change offcourse)the savitar that was freed is now gonna fight Barry for 4 more years so he must be like living the same thing over and over right? Or when does that remnant “take over” I have been thinking about this ever since I watched season 3, I’m sorry if my question isn’t clear enough but English isn’t my first language
