I [23F] Don’t Like My BF’s [26M] Glasses

Last year my bf went to get glasses and was really excited to show me the new glasses he picked out. Up to this point, we’d been dating for around 6 months and I had never seen him in glasses before. When he showed me the ones he chose, I internally cringed and still don’t like them a year later. They are the bridged style of glasses (Jeffrey Dahmer style) and they make him look a lot older than his age. Although I don’t like the glasses, by themselves I could shrug it off. A few months ago, he started wearing chunky white New Balance sneakers which we’ve seen him twinning with multiple 60+ year old men out in public. With the whole ensemble, I would say he looks in the 40s range instead of mid 20s and I just can’t get past it. I want to be a supportive girlfriend that hypes him up but dang it’s hard for me to like that style.

When we talked about this last he suggested I post on Reddit to get some other people’s opinions. Is the older dad style really back in?
