Playing elite on HDR monitor

I am thinking of upgrading my monitor there are lots of options 4k, mini LED, OLED 1440p I'm sure OLED would be the best my only issue is text fringing at 1440p 4k OLED is too expensive for me. Do any players have experience with these monitor types? I'd normally ask in the monitors sub reddit but those places turn into flame wars rapidly!
