how to know if u're in a loop?

still not sure how loops exactly work i know what it is, but i dont fully understand, like can you have diff loops in diff function stack ? since u have like a specific loop u go with ur stack. how'd u know if u're in a loop , what goes on, why does it happen?

personally INTP with very high Ni if that matters
