wondering about mirtazapine

Question

so for context i’ve had emetophobia for as long as i can remember. HOWEVER it never used to impact my daily life. i’d get anxious when people felt ill or when someone would v* near me or where i could hear it and i would have panic attacks if i felt ill which was rare. i split up from my partner in march and i’m pretty sure it triggered something in me because i felt nauseous immediately and have been living in permanent fight or flight since. it’s every waking thought, i’ve lost almost 4 stone and it’s stopped me from going out and doing things, wrecked relationships with people. i’ve had enough. at the beginning i couldn’t even get out of bed but i’ve managed to get myself to a point where i can go out and deal with the anxiety that comes with it to an extent (thanks to propranolol) but i would really like it to stop or become significantly less, kind of like i was before all of this? i’ve read a lot about mirtazapine and emetophobia and seen that it can be helpful so i’ve asked my GP if i can try it… i was just wondering if anyone on here is on it/has been on it and how was your experience in relation to emetophobia?
