Help watching youtube with ytfzf and similar

Trying to set up a minimalist way to watch youtube. I am imagining literally just a window, no sidebar/tltlebar/anything, with nothing but the video playing, and I can resize/arrange how I want amongst my other windows. Something like freetube/minitube is still too much and defeats the point, I want just the video.

I found mpv and ytfzf as ways to watch from the terminal, but cannot get them to work. I use "mpv (youtube video url)" but it throws errors at me. When I do a search with ytfzf it says "nothing was scraped".

Anything you would suggest?
