Advice Needed on Legitimate Ways to Earn Money Online

I'm a 24 year old guy with a High School Diploma and no formal schooling beyond that. I'm trying hard to find the right path towards an online income stream, but so far I've had no success. I've looked through numerous sites offering everything from taking surveys for cash to part-time jobs, but almost none of those look legitimate. I realize some opportunities don't require advanced education or extensive training, but I'm looking for something that realistically pays better.

Some posts that are older than what I'm looking for are ranking high in Google results and have tons of comments, but when I went to try them, most of them ended up being fake. A lot of things are misrepresented in some way, and I'm getting confused about which ones to take seriously.

So if anyone here has any pointers or knows of any absolutely legitimate places, I would greatly appreciate the help! I recently found an app called Methods.аpp, which claims to pay for creating 40 second videos. Is this something one of you has tried?
