Assetto Corsa rally, Speed sensitivity on controller doesn't apply in the car?

I am having a weird issue, where game worked fine with the controller, until it didnt.

Suddenly no matter what I set the speed sensitivity to, the steering wheel in the game moves 1 to 1 in comparison to my input on the controller stick. Beforehand there was some kind of dampening and it was quite fun to drive, now its very sensitive and borderline unplayable.

Anyone have suggestions how to fix this?
