Migrating to your awesome country

Hi everyone!

I'm a father of two, married, and currently living in Argentina.

I've been thinking a lot about moving to New Zealand. Your country looks amazing, and I'm wondering whether it's possible — and realistic — to settle there long-term.

Why? Well, I'm doing fine here, but I'm really worried about my kids’ future. It feels like we're stuck in a cycle where things improve a little, then get worse again, and it’s been like that for years.

I'm a software engineer with 6+ years of experience, but I also have hands-on skills like basic plumbing and car repairs. I’d love to understand how someone like me could find real opportunities, sponsorship options, and what the usual path is for families looking to migrate.

Any honest advice, experiences, or guidance would be hugely appreciated.
