After 5 or 6 sessions, what percentage will I have lost? Is it possible for hair to grow back under these circumstances?

I regret choosing this method (diode laser) and would like to know if there's a chance my hair will grow back after 5 or 6 sessions. I stopped after feeling excruciating pain during the fifth or sixth session (I don't remember exactly). I also didn't like the results. How permanent will it have been? At least in the first 4 sessions there wasn't much change, as far as I remember. But now, two years later, I notice some gaps and some thinner hairs when I shave or wax.
