Help with retail sales job

Hello R/Verizon

I've been working as a retail sales associate at a store since early october. There's a couple of things I want to ask here for help. My guaranteed commissions ends this month and I want to start with a bang in January. Given the state of the country at this point in time I'm worried I might not be succesful and have to seek employment after only a few months with the company. Any help and insight is appreciated.

  1. What techniques do you use to sell VHI to customers. What do you see other reps do and when during the sales process do you pitch it.

  2. When a customer walks in and tells you that they want to switch over from a different carrier. How do you navigate the POS to just quote them the price quickly and give them the number as soon as possible? I say this because I had a customer walk in saying they only wanted to see how much it would be and I froze when trying to fill out the port information because I didnt know what to put.

  3. When a customer is doing an upgrade. How do you pitch them the addition of perks and insurance and getting around to how their bill will be higher after the upgrade?
