Expectations of carrier oriented girls ?

To all carrier oriented girls here, what are your expectations about your partner's career ? Should he be doing equally well or more in career ? If yes, in case if you are planning to build family, what are your plans about sharing of responsibilities ?

This question came to mind after recent rejection from a carrier oriented girl. While I also used to be carrier oriented with no hobbies earlier, currently I enjoying my hobbies. I was thinking I might complement her well by bringing different views and qualities but she rejected me after digging more on my career. We were earning similar, she was fully focused on job switch while I was chilling with my hobbies. After her rejection some things changed at my work and I am also back to interviewing again.

Can two carrier oriented people survive together without sacrificing anything on their career ? I have never seen such cases around me, one person always adjusts if not both.

I don't want to get back to traditional roles, it wasn't even case with my parents. My father was equally contributing to everything if not more. So I like this setup.
