[M4GM] Interested in finding a GM for an RP set in the Halo universe! Looking for something literate and long-term, preferably with a detailed writer. I have ideas listed and I'm open to hearing yours as well! Various time periods and characters available to write. I'm highly flexible!

Hello all! The title says a lot when it comes to what I'm looking for, but I'm more than happy to be more specific. There's a few ways that we can take things, and I think the best way to get into that is the time period. We can do something from around the middle of the Human-Covenant War, something around the later period (around the time of the first Halo Trilogy), or even from after the War's ended (all the way up to when Infinite takes place). I'm also open to having it set across multiple time periods depending on the plot! Especially since the technology to make something like that happen exists within the setting (like the time jump between Halo 3 and 4).

As far as my character goes, I have a few different ideas. The main two are that he can either be an ODST (naturally) or a SPARTAN III, albeit one assigned to a special operations team akin to NOBLE from Reach, giving him access to MJOLNIR armor. He can totally start the RP in SPI armor, though, and upgrade as events go on! I can even do a marine or army trooper, if that's what a potential GM desires, but an ODST or SPARTAN would offer, I feel, more story beats to go over.

I am looking for someone who's familiar with a good amount of the canon. So not someone who's read all of the novels and short stories and other stuff (I'm not even that well-versed) but knows a good amount of the broad strokes of the lore and a good amount of the specifics, too. I would like to have things set as close to the baseline canon as possible, but I'm down to talk about any exceptions that we might want! Especially with things introduced during the 343-era of storytelling.

Finally, I'd love a GM who's literate and active. Literacy, for me, should at minimum be around the level of this post, if you need a baseline reference. Exact post size can vary, though. I enjoy having at least a paragraph or two to work off, but different situations require more or less detail. I'm a very detail-driven writer, though, so anyone who can keep me immersed in the setting and characters would be loved! I don't need a GM who posts as often as they can, but I would like to avoid weeks or months of inactivity unless I'm warned beforehand.

Feel free to send me a chat over Reddit and we can get started discussing things either here or over on Discord! I look forward to seeing who else is interested in this!
