Help, my steam deck started malfunctioning all of a sudden

The up and down buttons on the d pad suddenly stopped working this morning, and whenever I press on the steam button or the 3 dots button, i get a huge stick drift that goes upward, even though normally the stick is completely fine. This also happens in desktop mode, and in the bios the d pad buttons also don't work, couldn't check for the drift though. This happened all of a sudden this morning when I turned it on, didn't drop it or anything. I did some research about it and it says something about a ribbon cable being loose? Could that be the problem?
