BetterMe: Sugar Free Meals

Trying to cut back on sugar but not sure where to start? A sugar-free (or more accurately, “no-added-sugar”) approach can make a huge difference in your energy, cravings, and overall health without forcing you into extreme dieting.

🥗 What to eat on a sugar-free plan

  • Whole grains: oats, brown rice, quinoa, whole-grain bread/pasta.
  • Vegetables: leafy greens, broccoli, bell peppers, tomatoes, zucchini — all great, low-sugar and fiber-rich.
  • Whole fruits: fruit is fine — natural sugars come with fiber, vitamins and minerals, unlike processed sweets.
  • Lean protein & healthy fats: like fish, chicken, eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds, olive oil — filling and nutrient-dense.
  • Drinks and simple meals: stick to water, unsweetened tea or coffee; simple meals or snacks with minimal processing tend to be safest.

❔❔ Did you notice any changes in energy, mood, or cravings after a few days sugar-free?
