This game is cool, so is Nomad. Interesting community :)

TLDR: Cool project and community. I was gallantly rescued. A pickup truck in space is a great idea.

I decided to try the fly for free and got hooked despite bugs. This project really scratches an itch I've had for a long time so I'm happy to help support it. I just got the Nomad starter pack and a cosmetic armor pack. I want to grind for the rest. The learning curve was more of a learning cliff lol (updating the tutorial should be a priority IMO). I died many intererting ways. It helped to role play as myself coming out of cryosleep and trying to figure out this future lol. The community seems mostly helpful and honorable. Shout out to LordeHelixx for generously showing me the ropes and giving me a cool million bucks. Another pilot took issue with my name and tossed my cargo everywhere as I tried to load it. It was amusing and it did not come to violence. Two days later I ran into an asteroid and lost all power. I was adrift and my ship was still on fire externally. I sent out a call for help and it was LordeHelixx who came to my rescue again! I was rescued in their Pices and then able to complete my contract. What a wild ride. I'm still pretty clueless about most things but its a fun journey figuring it all out. I really hope this project develops into a full fledged game. Its been fascinating tracking its progress over the years. I'm not sure if it will be the greatest game ever or just a cool project that flew too close to the sun, in any case it's fun as hell.

The Nomad is awesome. I hated the landing gear at first (doesn't make sense to me) but they look cool and they seem to make landing easier. I'm not crazy about the entryway area, its cramped and disorienting. And that rear cargo window should be bigger darn it! But the bedroom is fantastic and most importantly it has a great cockpit view. The thing is basically a pickup truck :) At first I was apprehensive about the open cargo, bed but it looks cool as hell. I love the look of the Nomad and I think it will be great starter ship. Any thoughts on it?

I would like some feedback about the feasibility of having a couple people hang out in the cargo bed as I fly the ship. Drinking beers and taking shots at random junk as we criuse around. Sounds like a good time to me. Who wants to try?
