I am DJ AG of GTP DJ Entertainment, a DJ who builds the night around the couple — post-wedding Zooms have been eye-opening
Hey everyone, I’m Anthony Gelo (DJ AG) and I run GTP DJ Entertainment in New York City. I’m a wedding and event DJ who focuses on reading the room, building energy, and creating a musical experience that feels authentic to each couple. My style leans heavily toward versatility. I take what couples love, mix it in creative ways, and build their night around their personality and their crowd.
Recently, I’ve been doing post-wedding Zooms with past couples just to reconnect and hear how everything felt from their side. What’s been fascinating is how often the same theme comes up: couples felt like they truly got their music, their vibe, and their experience, without me forcing my own taste or agenda onto their night. Those conversations have been eye-opening and have reinforced how important it is to stay adaptable and centered on the couple.

Price range
To set expectations:
Most of my weddings fall in the $2500 to $4000 dollar range, with most couples spending around $3500. This varies depending on wedding size, ceremony sound or live musician options,
Location and travel
I’m based in NYC, regularly serve NYC, Long Island, Westchester, and NewJersey, and I’m open to traveling for destination weddings or cultural events if logistics make sense.

Wedding trend I love
One trend I love is personalized cocktail hour sets where couples mix genres, cultures, and eras. It gives me room to blend unexpected songs in a way that still feels like them, and guests always comment on it.
Wedding trend I dislike
Fake exits. They always kill the dancefloor. It’s tough to rebuild the energy after stopping everything to stage a moment that feels disconnected from the flow of the night.
