Permissive parenting

I'm working for this family with 3 kids and the parents work from home. They are general "nice* people but they are extremely permissive parents. Their kids are naturally good natures but I see their behavior declining by the day, with bullying, disrespect, huge tantrums over the smallest thing or not getting their way ECT. Their behavior worsens as they get older rather then improving as it should. The 5 year old physically assaulted the 3 year old constantly, shaking him and throwing him to the ground. I try to put him in time out and he runs away and hides. The three year old now does the same to the two year old. Today after about 10 warnings I put him in a 3 minute time out. He hasn't yet gotten home enough to run away and say there screaming while i set the timer. His mother comes running out. "oh my dearest what's wrong? Oh you poor thing. Oh tell me about it". He proceeds to lie "oh you poor thing thing. You did nothing wrong my sweet sweet boy. No you don't have to have a time out.". You get the picture. She never told me not to put her kids in time out she just comes in and tramples all over the boundaries I'm trying to set. The kids have started screaming and hitting her and calling her names when she tries to gently correct them "oh sweetie. You must be feeling sad because you're hiring the other kid. Tell mommy about your feelings my poor baby". Meanwhile the spoiled kids isn't listening to her and screaming, hitting her and calling her knees and telling her they hate her. The whole time she's just sweetly saying "oh my poor sad baby. Those are big feelings". They don't dare to pull that shit on me. One look from me tells them all they need to know about how that would go over. They are all big boys and she's a tiny woman. How is this going to work when they are big adolescents who out power her. She's going to end up getting hurt. No surprise the 5 year old got suspended the first week of kindergarten, the schools are not going to put up with a kids who hurts people. She thinks she's such a sweet nice mother but she's going to create 3 sociopaths. I'm over it. I'm looking for another job without parents working from him. You can't take care of kids properly with hovering permissive parents undermining your authority.
