CBD parking for broke people?

Hi y’all — I work part-time downtown on Julia St. (near Emeril’s) and usually get dropped off…or suck it up and pay the hourly rate when needed. I’m a little extra broke this month and wondering if anyone knows of a way to park in the area or nearby for free? Willing to walk several blocks if needed…TIA!
