Was Thielen not a retirement tour?

All year I’ve been pissed that we traded a pick for Thielen just to do a retirement tour. Him asking to be released is bizarre because it implies it was never about retiring for his home team? Regardless I find it hysterical that he thinks there’s a better opportunity out there. Willing to bet he joins the chiefs and misses the playoffs anyways (if anyone wants him).
