How to know if a Chinese guy likes you?

Hi guys! I’m from a Latin country and recently started a new job in a Chinese company and I met a really cute Chinese guy. He always treated everyone really nicely, being very polite and gently but funny and open at the same time. One day we went to a party and I kissed him, and we stayed together the whole night.

After that we started flirting and we went out one time after that just the two of us (like a date setting) but after that he went away on a business trip and we spent 1 month apart.

The thing is, in the mean time he didn’t bother to text me more than 2 times. I was very disappointed because I was really into him and before that I thought the really liked me too (at least that’s what he told me).

Now that he has returned he has been sending me more messages, but I’m very hurt and I believe he is playing games with me, but I wish I had a perspective from other Chinese people since our cultures differ a lot, especially about dating culture.
