Is Hinduism a very weak religion theologically?
How can you even make a case for a religion that divides its own people into hierarchies and has some very inhuman laws prescribed for the lowest of the pyramid.
Its not that there are no bad things in other religions but atleast the bad things are towards the outsiders or towards the women not towards the men followers(who are all that mattered historically)
We can't even brush off the caste/varna system as a misinterpretation/not important because it is a very important aspect of our religious scriptures and cannot be dismissed just like that.
Some people try to justify by saying that varna system is not birth based but Karma based but even then would it justify all the inhuman things that are prescribed for shudras and avarnas in the scriptures? And we have no evidence whatsoever to prove that varna system was not birth based. Few rare examples of moving up the varna hierarchy in history doesn't mean that it was the norm.
So does this make Hinduism a very weak religion as compared to other more so-called egalitarian religions(atleast to men followers) like Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc?
