37M High Cholesterol

Lab Result

I just received news that I have high cholesterol, but my doctor is unfazed by it...I'm wondering if I should get a second opinion?

Total: 232

LDL: 165 (up from 120 4 years ago)

HDL: 48

Trigs: 108

BMI: 23

A1C: 5.2%

ALT: 26

My dad started statins at 34 years old, his dad died of a sudden massive heart attack at like 56.

My diet is indeed subpar, I know I have to get that in order...but not sure how I'm going to get LDL around 100 with diet alone.
