Will people get into relationships with others they find "ugly"?

People tend to pair up with partners of similar attractiveness. Money, personality, and vibes can override looks, but on average, attractive people date attractive people and less attractive people date each other. So do less attractive people mostly just 'settle' for someone they’re not that physically into?
