Would an Ayn Odin 3 be more powerful than my Galaxy S24 FE?
Hi everyone!
I'm relatively new to this Android Emulation scene, and for the past couple of months I've been playing and emulating on my own phone (Samsung Galaxy S24 FE). I've been thinking about buying myself an Android Handheld dedicated to gaming and emulation, and I would like it to be decently powerful. I find that my phone is pretty good at emulating "modern' games, like Switch and some Steam games, but I would like it to be better (still has a good amount of hiccups every now and again). Overall, the setup I currently have works fine for me, except for two problems: not having enough storage on my phone (the S24 FE doesn't have an SD Card slot) and lacking every so slightly in performance. These are basically the issues I'd like to solve by buying a dedicated handheld, but the trouble here is the second issue. Most handhelds I find are specifically retro handhelds, which, while they would still be useful for me (I do enjoy some retro systems) would be absolutely redundant. Retro games don't take up that much storage space and also don't demand so much out of the machine that my phone can't handle it. The solution I've found is, apparently, the AYN Odin 3 (probably Pro or Max versions). What do you guys think about this handheld, and do you think it would be more powerful than my S24 FE? (Reminder that the phone's CPU is Exynos, not Snapdragon)
