Unsure about Minifreak, could use opinions.

Discussion

I'm considering a Minifreak as an adjunct to my modular rig (I also have a Moog Matriarch and Juno 60). The Matriarch isn't polyphonic and the Juno 60 is great but doesn't have so much of the range of more modern analog synths or something like the Minifreak.

I'm attracted to its use both as a portable MIDI keyboard for composing on the go on my DAW, as well as poly sounds I can't otherwise get on my eurorack and can easily bring to use live.

My concern is that from what I've heard online it seems to have more of a "pristine" sound, and doesn't seem to have the richer harmonics of analog or analog emulations I've heard. I don't mean the distortions per se...they sound fine and gnarly but not particularly thick, if that makes sense. FYI I don't have the ability to test one out in person. It very well could have these things, but in the examples I've seen so far, not as much.

Does it do big, warm "analog" (for lack of a better term) pads, basses, etc.? And is it easy to program very slight, slow random drift of the pitches (ideally polyphonically, but I'm guessing not)?
