I don't understand how some Christians don't care about their loved ones going to hell

Seriously, I've seen many fundamentalists go on about stuff like "My family don't believe what I believe in, but I'll get the last laugh when I'm in heaven and they're regretring those decisions in hell."

How can you be fine with the idea of loved ones being tortured while you're happy? What is this way of thinking fundamentalists do.
