How to cope with severe dysphoria/gender envy after hanging out with male friends?
I'm 17, pre-t, and have started recovering from severe social anxiety and social isolation a few months back. I've gained some male friends, which has done wonders for my life, confidence and health. The issue is, it has also made my gender issues much more intense. Especially after hanging out with them.
It's been wonderful to have not just other people acknowledge me as a guy, but cis men especially. And yet, it almost feels emberrasing? Due to the way I'm built i look much younger than i am and there's very little i can do about it in my current state (I'm super short, babyfaced, have a high pitched voice, skinny and cannot gain much muscle or weight). I feel like i stick out like a sore thumb and theres often the "god i wish that were me" feeling when im with them. I'll hopefully be able to start testosterone in a few months but that will still take a while, and I don't know what to do in the meantime.
