Best Value Air Purifier? (Coway, Winix, Blueair, Shark, Sans, etc)

I have been doing research on which air purifier to purchase and seem to be left with more options than answers the more digging I do. It will be for an open concept ranch which combines the living room, kitchen, and dining room (not sure on exact square footage, 600-800 sq ft would be my guess). Budget for this will be around $150-$300 and will be the first purifier in the house. Any idea on which brands tend to be the best value, most reliable etc? Biggest things will be pet hair and dust and reside in the US. I recently came across Coway and Winix and saw they have a multitude of models, before them I was looking at the Blueair 211i Max and the Shark Max with True HEPA. Based off what I have read I may need to buy multiple to get full coverage of the house/rooms but just looking for one to start. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
